The Stand1st Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that police officers, particularly those in departments with limited resources, have access to essential life-saving ballistic shields. We achieve this by enabling individuals, organizations, and corporations to contribute to the department of their choice while also receiving a tax-deductible donation that can be used as a tax write-off. To facilitate this process, the Stand 1st Foundation offers an online application for agencies to request ballistic shield donations for their department. To be considered for this assistance, we request that the requesting department actively participate in fundraising efforts to secure the necessary funds for these critical life-saving tools.
Here's how we request your assistance:
- Departments are asked to provide us with a list of individuals, organizations, and corporations within their community who support law enforcement.
- With this list, we create a document that explains the Foundation's mission and the partnership between the Foundation and the department as they work together to secure donations for the department.
- This partnership document also outlines the benefits of our 501(c)(3) status and provides donors with the necessary documentation for tax purposes.
